The Wind and the Sun
Once upon a time, the wind and the sun were quarreling about who was stronger. The wind said, “I am stronger than you dopey sun.” “Who are you calling dopey?” said the sun. So they quarreled all day and night.
The next day, the sun saw a man with a coat on. The sun said, “see that man with that coat down there.” “Yes,” said the wind. “Which ever of us can get that coat off him is the strongest.” So the wind blew and blew and blew! But he could not get the man’s coat off him. Instead, the man zipped his coat up. Then the sun tried. The sun shined hotter and hotter until the man unzipped his coat and put it under his arm. The sun won and the wind was impressed.

Our Family Adventure - Part 2
The second day in China we got to see the Cleft Healing Home. Joseph had gotten well enough to live with a foster family so he wasn’t there. When we got inside the home, there were about six babies in the home. The home had five rooms; a kitchen, two baby rooms, a living room, and a sun room. The baby rooms had about four or five cribs each. Mom held all the babies. I got to hold some babies too. My favorite baby was a boy baby who was playful. All the babies were so cute I felt like adopting them all!

Our Family Adventure - Part 1
This story is about me, my family, and my uncle going to China to get my new brothers! When we got there, after the 14 hour plane ride, we stayed at a hotel for the night. The next day we all went to Zhengzhou and had a little trouble finding our guide. Our guide was called Rosemary and I liked her a lot. We got hotel rooms with see through bathrooms and cigarette ash stains on the floor. After a few days, our guide got another hotel for us called the Holiday Inn. It was so nice, I felt like I was in paradise.

Lobstering with Grandpa
When I get my brothers, I want them to go lobstering with my Grandpa and me. When I go on lobstering trips, I get to hold lobsters, starfish, and sea cucumbers. I want them to see the cool stuff! When I hold lobsters, I have to be careful so they do not pinch my fingers off! When we are done with the old bait, we throw it to the seagulls. The seagulls fly around the boat and dive in the water to devour the bait. We have a good time.
